Ultimate Beginners Guide to Power Vinyasa Yoga w/Mary O’Meara

In this 3-week course, you will learn and gain a solid foundation for your Power Vinyasa Yoga practice.  Power Vinyasa is a dynamic and fluid yoga practice that focuses on building strength and endurance.  Mary’s O’M Yoga philosophy is based on emotional release through our yoga practice.  She pairs together the physical endurance of our Power Vinyasa style with the emotional endurance that we gain as well.  Her classes will leave you feeling physically capable, as well as emotionally well-rounded, not excluding the spiritual and mental connection we gain on our mat, too.  Mary offers layers for all levels of students, she wants EVERYONE to feel capable to be on their mat regardless of level.  This course will allow you to do just that!  By the end of the 3 weeks, you will feel prepared to go beyond this course feeling comfortable in your newly gained Power Vinyasa Yoga experience. 

What you get: 

You will receive 3 classes designed to help you progress in your practice.  

  • In the first week, you will get a 30-Minute Power Vinyasa flow that will move at a slower pace, where each pose will be broken down and lots of modifications offered.  This class will be taken 3-4 times as hO’Mework to help you build comfort and stamina on your mat.
  • In the second week, you will get a 45-Minute Power Vinyasa flow that builds upon what you learned in the first 30-Minute flow.  Still at a slower pace, with lots of modifications offered.  This will include a few opportunities to take your practice a bit further, but ONLY if you feel ready.  This class will be taken 3-4 times as hO’Mework as well, continuing to build a solid foundation and stamina for your Power Vinyasa practice.
  • In the third week, you will get a 60-Minute Power Vinyasa flow that builds even further on the other classes.  By now, you will have built your stamina and will find a 60-Minute class doable, and most importantly, enjoyable!  We will still move at a bit of a slower pace, but this class will kick it up just a bit.  Don’t worry!  All modifications will still be offered!  There will also be some deeper variations offered to you to take, IF and only IF you feel ready!  Remember, that our yoga practice is just this…a PRACTICE.  This class will be taken 3-4 times a week as hO’Mework to build your stamina both emotionally and physically.  By the time you finish your assignments this week, you will be ready to take any and all of Mary’s Power Vinyasa classes!
